APRIL 2016

LADIES DAY BY AMANDA WHITTINGTON

Ladies Day was our entry for this years' Kent Drama Festival and, apart from having some our largest audiences we have had at the Sarah Thorne Theatre,  we had a very good adjudication by Mr Charles Evans.

Our newest member, Rebecca Fearn was outstanding and,  as a consequence, won the Best Debut in a Full Length Play award.  Andrew Nolan,  who has been with BDP for many years,  also fully deserved his award for Best Actor in a Cameo Role.  We were also runners-up in the Best Sound Category and Best Ensemble Acting Category.  Well done to everyone concerned and especially Miranda Peacock,  our brilliant and patient director!!
